Dans advice is sound, simple and solid. There’s really no such thing as passive income. I have over 60 streams of “passive” income and each one requires time, effort and active involvement regularly. Finances are just like fitness- the more actively involved you are the better the results. Love to meet you some day Dan!

Passive income is very real and vital to become financially free, BUT it always requires work up front. All the passive income I've earned has been from the hard work I initially did to build automated systems that make money. It's not easy, but it's worth it.

Agreed. Don’t quit your job just yet. You can’t feed your family on potential. Get that passive income to match or at least come close to your active income. After it’s built, keep it up for 6 months to 1 year to insure stability then you can quit your 9-5.
